Coaches Needed

Volunteer coaches are key to the success of the program. We need volunteers! Without adequate volunteers, rosters will be limited and children will be turned away. If you are interested in coaching, please register as a head coach or assistant coach.  A preseason coaching clinic is offered to all volunteer coaches as well as a practice plans to help coaches create a fun environment where kids can improve their skills. 

1st Grade-Coach Pitch

1st grade Baseball is an instructional league for kids in 1st grade for the 2023/24 school year. This level builds upon the basics of Rookie Camp and T-ball.  1st grade baseball introduces the player to coach pitch baseball. We use hard sided baseballs and every player gets 5 pitches from the coach. If they don't hit one of the 5 a tee is brought out to hit off of.  Held M/W nights.

2nd Grade-Kid Pitch

2nd grade baseball is an instructional league for kids in 2nd grade for the 2023/24 school year, building upon the basics of 1st grade coach pitch baseball.  The first half of the 2nd grade baseball season continues with coach pitch, transitioning to kid pitch for the second half of the season. Held T/Th nights.

1st Grade is Monday and Wednesday nights

2nd Grade is Tuesday and Thursday nights

Important dates

• Season runs from April 29th thru July 11th(Start date will be weather dependent) . 
• House Parent Meeting: Virtual 
• Team notification will be April 24th via e-mail
• Coaches Meeting: Saturday, April 27th. Level Coordinatore will email out time and location.
• Picture Day will be held on Monday, April 29th at McGuire Middle School.  Team photographs will be scheduled throughout the day.  Make-up TBD.
