This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up to be a coach, assistant coach, or team manager for an in-house or community baseball team for the 2024 season.  Registering here does not guarantee you or your athlete a specific team or volunteer placement. 

**Note, this is NOT for ROOKIE CAMP VOLUNTEERS.  We will have those adults register at a different time.**

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

**Each family of a player 3rd grade and older are required to fulfill 3 DIBS volunteer hours throughout the 2024 season.  Each team for 3rd grade and older is allowed to have a maximum of 4 volunteers (Coach, Assistant Coaches, Team Manager) and their DIBS hours will be considered fulfilled.  Volunteering for a 2nd grade or younger team does NOT fulfill a family's DIBS requirement.**

You will be submitting info for the background check and coaches training.  Please use the information below to complete the pieces/certifications and then you will upload a pdf/jpg of the completed certifications.

(Note, NOT for ROOKIE CAMP--we will get those adult volunteers later)

We need to conduct background checks and collect some certifications from Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Team Managers.  Follow the steps listed below.  

Make sure the adult registering to Coach/Assistant/Manage is the one filling out the form and submitting the required pieces.  You can have multiple emails connected to your athlete in SportsEngine.

-Enroll in the USA Baseball Coach "A" Certification

• Complete Abuse Awareness for Adults
• Basic First Aid
• Pitch Smart. **while we understand some levels don't pitch (ie: T-Ball) this course is still helpful for coaches to know
• The Confident Baseball Coach

Upload your certificates to the Sports Engine Coach Register Site

Coaches from previous years may not have to re-take these courses, simply download the certificate and submit.  If your certificate has expired or you are a new coach, be sure to enroll and take these 4 courses.

Add USA Baseball Standard Package (This is the background Check)

Do not pay the $10 yourself. Background checks expire after 1 year.
